4 Wheeler

Here are some pictures of some of out 4 wheeling adventures in American Fork Canyon after we got back from Canada. It was so much fun and Sadie had a blast. She loved to run in front of the 4 wheeler or ride on the back. It was funny to see other people's reactions when they saw her riding. So apparently dog don't ride well on 4 wheelers.
We would pack a lunch grab some books and head up the canyon and start to explore trails that we haven't been on. When we got hungry we would find a really pretty view and eat lunch and just hang out and read or whatever. It was such a great way to spend out day.
We came around the corner to find this moose staring at us. Sadie flipped out. She wanted to go play so bad that she could still bark with me holding her mouth shut. But it just crossed the path and kept going.
This is one of the great views that we were able to see on one of out trips.

Sadie would get on the back behind me while we ride when she got really tired. She usually ran most of the way and we would ride for several miles. I can't believe how fast she can run for the amount of time we would go out for. On the way home she would be passed out in the back seat but once we got home she was ready to play again.

Sadie and I at one of out picnics spots.

The view at the picnic place.

Man and his best friend.

Toby is so happy to be able to use his 4 wheeler last year I was to much of a baby to get bundled up. But we didn'g get the 4 wheeler until after Halloween so it was a but cold so you can't blame me. But we had a ton of fun this little time we had.

Going 4 wheeling was so much fun for us. The mountains are just beautiful and spending the time together with no phones, TV or computers was so nice. I wish that the warm weather would last a bit longer so we can go more while we are not working.

I love this girl

She makes me so happy.

One Long One

Because we are really lazy we haven't posted in a long time so we decided to do just one long post with lots of stories and pics.

We were so excited to be coming home from Canada in August. The last several weeks we were living in hotels. It was quite squishy with all of our stuff and a dog to fit in a hotel room and it was very expensive to eat out as much as we had to because of the lack of kitcken. So this is Toby very excited to be back in the States where everything is cheaper and faster. The max speed limit was 62 mph or 110 kph.

We got back from Canada in time for Dee's (Gina's mom) birthday. Pritty girls.

I made my mom's cake this year and I was very proud of the outcome. Morgan usually makes the cakes and she is really good. But Morgan let me give it a try and it turned out really good. I was impressed with myself. The cake had strawberries in the middle...Yummm.

It's a Sumflower in case you didn't know.

Toby has been taking care of me so much since I have been pregnant. Food for me was not my friend for the first trimester so sweet husband of mine brought me strawberries for breakfast one morning and he cut them into heart shapes. And they were so yummy!!!

Several weeks later it was time for my birthday. And if you know me my birthday is a big deal. so this year it was a weekend thing. It was hard to plan things when I was feeling sick a lot. But we still had a lot of fun.

So for dinner the first night Morgan made some great dutch oven food and my favorite bread. That is one of my traditions for my birthday, Morgan cooks for my present and it is ALWAYS good.

My mom and I plotted a little surprise for Toby because he didn't get a birthday party while we were in Canada becasue we were so busy, so my mom made him his favorite dessert (mud pie) and he got presents. It was so funny, my mom brought out the cake and we all started to sing and when we all said Toby instead of Gina he was so confused but he totally loved it.

See so excited to have some attention.

So I always have a theme and this year Ryker helped me decide what it should be. He said that I should have a skeleton party and so I did. When we went to the party store Toby found these glowin the dark things and we had a lot of fun with those.

Here is Sadie with one around her neck and one taped to her tail. Morgan's little dog Zuma was there too and she had them too, but because Sadie has the worlds fastest swinging tail it was really fun.

Ryker and Raelin loved them too.

Raelin was a bug. So fitting.

This year like I said was a weekend event. So we had a sleepover out in my parent's front yard. The Somers family all slept on the trampoline and Toby and I slept on the air mattress on the lawn. (my back has not been happy latley). But the best part was Alaina (Morgan's youngest 7-8 months old) She was in her pack-n-play and when I woke up I looked over at here and she as just laying there staring at me and I waved at her and she waved back. Just about the cutiest thing EVER!!! Raelin and Ryker came crawling in Toby and my sleeping bag (it was not big enough) really early. They love when we stay the night with them so they can come cuddle with us in the morning. Needless to say Toby and I don't get a lot of sleep when we stay the night at their house.

The next morning we went to church at my parents ward. And we just hung out and played games the whole day. But the highlight of the day was the Cinnimon-roll-a-roma. We had 3 different kinds of cinnamon rolls. Sugar, sugar, sugar. I loved it. It helped with the napping.

Then it was time for dinner and cake.

This is my cake that Morgan made for me and she whipped it up in a couple of min. I loved it. It was to tasty too. Skeleton was the best theme I have ever done.

Another tradition for my birthdays...Pinata!!! I love pinatas its great getting the adults spinning on a bat and seeing them try to hit it while all dizzy. Way more fun then watching the kids. They just like the candy that flies everywhere.

Toby took one of the glow in the dark things and broke it open and outlined the pinata and it was so much fun doing it at night. What a great birthday.
