Early Chirstmas

Like always Toby got spoiled this year for Christmas.

Sadie's ok with it too.

I had found this 4 wheeler while I was trick or treating with Raelin and Ryker. Because I didn't trust that it was a good enough deal to get without talking to Toby. So he got his present 2 months early. But I totally didn't mind because it came with a plow and a winch so all the snow that we got before Chirstmas was not a problem. It also came with the seat on the back and a trailor for it too. So it was a steal of a deal and we had already had so much fun sledding with it and clearing the driveway!

The New Yard!!!

Toby, Jordan and I were talking about something we could do for my parents to thank them for letting us live there. We went through a lot of ideas and we came up with fixing up their yard. They have this planter right in front of the house with really ugly trees to say the least. This is what it used to look like.
UGLY right? Especially compared to the rest of their property.
Then Toby and Jordan tore everthing out. I have to say that I think that it looks so much better already.
Look I'm a helper!!
Jordan too...
Even Sadie helped. She did a great job.
We had to take out a lot of grass. It was really hard. Luckily I had to go to work and I got home just in time to help with the not-so-hard stuff. Jordan and Toby did such a great job. It was way more work then expected, just like every yard project.
We got a peach tree and some lylac trees for planter. We also got a ton of bushed and ground cover. We should start a new TV show. "Pimp my yard" we did a really good job.
Like I said Toby and Jordan did a great job. Toby is one heck of a worker and he had such great ideas for everything!! He also got Jordan to work the hardest he has in his life. So that was nice for Jordan. Jordan helped out a ton. I don't think that we could have done it without him!
Here is a lame picture of the finished product. I wanted to get a better picture but then it snowed. Utah...grrrr.

We still have 4 or 5 more trees to plant. For Christmas and Fathers Day I would tell my dad that I would get him a tree but we never got to it. So we are making up for it now. My parents want to plant them out in the pasture and block some of it off so the horses don't get them..again it snowed right before we were about to get started on that new project.

THE Bed

This is the bed that Jesse and I built while Toby was in Canada. We had so much fun! We were sleeping on an air mattress and so Jesse decided to build us a bed. The design was Jesse's. I was just the helper. It was hard to keep it a secret from Toby but it was worth it when he saw it.

These pictures don't the bed justice what so ever!!! I love it!!!

Sadie's Swimming

Sadie has not been super hot on the idea of swimming. Jesse has taken Sadie up the canyon a couple of times and got her to swim quite a bit but every time Toby and I go with she won't even get close....except this one time!!!

I was so proud!!! It was like watching my baby take her first steps.

She is so cute. She would stand on this rock and watch Ladie swim all over. When Ladie got close Sadie would pounce and start to wrestle with her but then Ladie would go back out in the water and Sadie would just stand on the rock-waiting and watching.

Sadie is now a fisherdog. Ok so the fish was already dead but this is a great picture. Don't worrie I brushed her teeth after!!

CAMPING!!

Toby got home from Canada in the middle of October. We didn't get to go camping at all this last summer. If you know us we love camping. Even though it had snowed the week before Toby was determined to go. I was a bit unwilling after the freezing weather that we were having in the valley and was not about to even consider going up the canyon to staying the night. But the weather got nice and warm so we took advantage.

Anyway we ended up going camping and the weather was beautiful!!! We had so much fun. Jordan, Jesse, Morgan, Brice, Raelin, Ryker, William Toby and I were all part of the camping crew. My mom and dad joined us for breakfast. Its jun having all the family around!!!

Jesse brought his guitar and we had some fun making up songs and just messin around.

Morgan and Brice had a lot of studying to do for tests they had on Monday. Toby and I wanted to stay after everyone left so we could hike and play. We decided to keep the kids and we had so much fun!! So here we are before our hike.

We had to have a funny face picture!
What cute kids!!!!

Just some more random pictures of the cutest kids in the world.

School Pictures

I have never been a fan of school pictures. But for some reason I pick a job that requires me to take one. At least I look more professional. At Mountainville we had casual day so I was in my jeans and my Nintendo shirt for pictures. So at least I'm all growed up this time.I like this picture of my new hair way better then the other one. So some good came from school pictures!

Sadie and Lady!

Toby and I are so protective of our little girl. We didn't think it was that bad until Jesse and his dog Lady moved in. We watched him and we thought, "Man he is a worry wart!" But it also made us notice that we might be worse then he is. So now we all just embrace it and totally obsess over our little girls. Jesse and I went to Morgans house to get her big dog house that they made. On the way home we didn't tie Sadie down to the truck and I was worse then a mother on her kids first day in Kindergarten. Man I was watching constantly, we were on the freeway...she has never done that before. She had BOTH of her paws up on the edge and her balance is not very good, not to mention that she is the hoppiest little thing you have ever seen. So she was up there hopping all over not very stable. She was not liking being out there either so she was barking a lot. At one point I opened my window to tell her to stop barking and she freaked out and tried to get to me and man was I a mess. "NO NO NO NO get back get back" Jesse was totally making fun of me. But that was horrible. Man my stomach was in knots the whole ride home. Then Jesse and talked about how protective we are with you dogs. Like when he sent Lady on the airplane with out him. He was freaking out. That made me feel like less of a freak. I didn't think that you were supposed to have feeling like this for a dog.

Kids and Dogs Invade the Lawler's

My parents have a 3 bedroom house. Jordan and Toby came back from Texas a couple of weeks ago. So of course Toby and i took one room and Jordan took the other.

But Jesse (my older brother) was going to move back in with my parents. OK so 6 Adults in a 3 bedroom. Good thing 2 sets of them can share. Anywho we needed to decide where to put everyone. Toby and I could either stay in the really small room that I was staying in (and it is really really small. like one dresser and a bed fit in there and that is about it. If you get more then 2 people standing in that room it starts to over flow). But we had another option...the living room/moms office. Its a really big room with a door. It actually was kinda hard to decide because my mom workes all the time at her desk so we would have as much privacy. We decided the living room. Its a whole lot bigger and we can be real close to Sadie.(No dogs allowed in the Lawler home). So moving up there was no fun. We had a lot of stuff in our truck for storage and we went through all that and man we just have a lot of junk. So not we have a house full...parents could you imagin. You were empty nesters for about 3-5 months then you have 3 of you 4 children move back in, one of them has a husband and 2 of them has dogs...
If you know my parents the kid part was great but the dog part is so not their favorite. But we all fit and things are working out well. Jesse cooks a bit and we LOVE that and there is so much space for the dogs in the yard!!! This will work for quite a while.

So we kind of feel like this but we are also really enjoying having everyone around! And its fun having all the dogs around too.

Toby's Gone Again!!!!

Pinnacle is the security company that Toby works for. They really needed some guys out in Canada to help out. But instead of sending out a couple of guys they just wanted Toby. It was a very sudden decision. And now he is in Canada and working. I am totally bummed. We had to change his cell plan again and so his minutes are limited even from me so that makes thing even better-NOT. But the hardest thing is that I don't know when he is going to be home. He is coming home when they don't need him any more. He is devastated that he won't have his puppy around...HIS PUPPY!!! not his wife but his dog. Man that makes me feel great. No he doesn't like being away from me either. Just to brag a bit for him...When he got there (he drove) he met the salesman and they all knew about him and they were all really excited to have him there to install for them. He is asof today 9/23/08 8th in the company. So he feels needed and who doesn't like that! But Sadie and I are missing him so we are OK if he comes home soon.

I love my birthday!

I try to something fun for my birthday every year. 2 years ago I had a whole day extravaganza. This year I decided to have a Luau party for my birthday!! We got all kinds of decorations. We got lei's, torches and umbrellas for our drinks, strawberry daiquiri and pina coladas virgin of course.
This was in my parents front yard with all of our fun decorations.

We started playing some baseball. Angel really smoked us all.

Then we got a volleyball and started passing. It was funny seeing us try to play with all the trees in the way. Toby got really good at playing off of the them. Oh man then the real fun started. Pinata Time!!! Mom was up first! It was so much fun watching her!
We filled the pinata up so much that it was about to bust just from hanging there.
OH man a pregnant woman with a bat look out!
See I told you that there was a lot of candy. It was hard to keep Raelin and Ryker away for the candy flying out while we were hitting the pinata. One of them almost became the pinata but what would have came out would not have been very yummy.

This is my cake that Morgan made. She has been making awesome cakes since Raelin was born. So she made this for me this year and I think that she did an amazing job. Jesse just moved back in with my parents and he showed up the day of my birthday. He has a 9 month old puppy, Lady. So you could imagin how much fun it was to have her and Sadie play. We did a little marshmellow roasting and hung out by the fire. My birthday was so much fun. It's just going to get really hard to keep topping it year after year.

Toby's Surprise

Sorry no pictures but its a good story. One night I was trying to access my bank web site so make sure I was all caught up. But I couldn't get on. I called Toby and he told me that he was trying to get on and forgot the password so it locked him out. That was a bit odd because he NEVER goes on there. Later that night Toby called and asked if my dad wanted any security equipment for his house or the cabin we were building up in Scofield. I started to get curious because he wasn't schedualed to come home for another week and a half and he was wanting to know so that he could go and get it. Again I was getting very curious what he was up to. Late that night I called Toby to say good-night. He was out and about and that was not normal. He said that him and Jordan wanted a mid-night snack. The the really big mystery was that as we were saying bye Toby said to call him in the morning. Uh yeah like Toby would be up at 7 in the morning? All of this really got me thinking "Maybe he is on his way home!!!"

The next morning I did call him and he was really awake! Not normal. Evertime I called him that day he was in the car and he "said" he was on his way to jobs everytime. I was starting to get really excited and I was really getting my hopes up. It was so bad that my mom asked me to go to her class to help her and I was thinking that Toby might be there...he wasn't. I didn't tell anyone that I thought that he was coming just in case i jynxed it. But I was about to explode. So I went to my old job and talked to my friend Mandy and I told her all about my suspiscions. She started to get all excited too. But we then calmed ourselves and I tryed not to think about it. So I went home and tryed to drown myself in TV to distract myself and get the time to pass as fast as possible. So I was in my room playing on the computer when Dakota started to bark!!! Oh man my heart started to pound and I got so...pumped! I looked out my window as best as I could with it all stained from the sprinklers. AND...it wasn't him...:( I think that almost everyone in the ward for some reason stopped by. So every 2 min my heart was pumping at the speed of ...a fast pumping heart. So you can bet that trying to get to sleep was almost impossible. Then at about 11 o'clock at night my door opens and I said hey (thinking it was my dad) but no it was TOBY!! I don't think I have ever given someone a longer hug. Even though I was on to him it was still such a great surprise and I am so happy to have him home. I missed him so much and now I can FINALLY sleep at night!!!

Brunettes have WAY more fun!

So Mary and I were having a lazy girl's weekend. We went to dinner at Chili's with my mom. That is always fun! Mary forgot her toothbrush and I was not about to spend the weekend with a stinky Mary. So we went to Walmart to get her one. We ended up wandering around the surrounding isles. We stopped at the hair dye where Mary was contemplating going darker. But I was the one that I ended up getting the dye and we dyed my hair the next morning. I didn't tell Toby just thought it could be a fun surprise when he got home!!! He REALLY REALLY likes is. I like it too but my hair is not as soft as it usually was, but its a fun change! This isn't a very good picture but its all I've got.

New Job

OK here is the story. I was supposed to be working as my mom's aide in the 4th grade at Mountainville Academy, but one week before school started she got a job offer at another school. This school was a public school, which meant better almost everything. So she took it and that left me to think if I wanted to continue to work at the other school without her. It was a hard decision because THE reason that Toby and I decided to move back to Utah was because of this job at Mountainville. I decided to go and still work for them, but they had hired a new Director and I found that things were different and not in the best way for me. Some of my favorite people I worked with were no longer working there, including my mom. They were only offering 4 hours of work a day...I had been working 6. It wasn't as good as last year but it was ok. I had a good teacher to work with and it was nice. On the first Thursday of school my mom came home and told me that they had a job opening at her school (which just happened to be down the road for Mountainville). On Friday I went to mom's school to talk to them about the job. I was just wanting some information and it ended up being pretty much a job interview. The job was "the computer teacher"...TEACHER. Well technically I would still be an aid so the teacher of each class that came to my computer lab would still have to be in the room but I would run the show. I was pretty excited but I was still not sure if I wanted to move schools. Well in the end, I took the job and I am LOVING it. Tuesdays thru Friday I get to teach computers. It is so much fun. I enjoy working with computers and it also nice to have my mom here. So things are going really well. I'm happy that I made this choice!!!

Jack take 2

Mary and I got to see Jack Johnson AGAIN!!! We were able to see him about 3 years ago and it was fun but this time it was such a blast! They sang some Cat Stevens..who I love! They also played the Devil went done to Bolivia(not Georgia because Zack the piano player was playing his accordian not the fiddle)...that was great. But the highlight was Bubble Toes (my FAVORITE Jack song) Jack was chatty which was different from last time.

So this is Mary and I with Jack in the back. We had so much fun. This is Jack you can see him really well in the picture framy thingys... Funny story: they we starting a song and some guy in the front coulple of rows had yelled "I want my wife to have your baby" and it totally through him off and he couldnt recover so they had to start the whole song over again. It was so funny!!! Jack dedicated the song to the wife it was great!!

Mary and I decided that evertime he is in town we are going to see him. So we now have an amazing tradition!!! GREAT NIGHT!!

Boring

Sorry my life is boring. I have had some comments about not having a new post...So here is a new post and it may not be interesting because nothing has really happened since we got Sadie.

Ok so Sadie and I just moved back to Utah and we are living with my parents. Toby is still in Texas finishing up his summer job. There is also a chance that Toby will continue to stay out there for the extended season. He is doing so well they are wanting him to be a Lead Technician for one of the extended offices. So he may not move to Utah until October. And I bet you can guess how I feel about that....I don't like it!!!

Look what I made!!!! Yeah I'm so proud...ok I had help but whatever!!! Sadie is getting used to it and Dakota LOVES it. If you look closley you can see Dakota in Sadies house!!!
On Monday I start work at the same school as last year, Mountainville Avademy, as a TA. Sadly to say I will not get to be my mom's aid like planned. She was offered a job at another school. This school is not a Charter School, so its a great oppertunity for her. We are really happy for her but I'm going to miss her.
See I told you...I don't have anything interesting to "blog" about!!! But there you go.

Sadie!!

LOOK OUR NEW PUPPY!!!! We got her last week on our anniversary. She is now 7 weeks old and just about the cutest thing on the planet.

She is a handful but we are enjoying every minute. Toby wanted a boy but we just fell in love with her when we saw her. Toby is such a softy.

Not to say that I'm not...

I figured I would join in...

So i figured that I'm married now that I should join in the fun of blogging.

Here is a little update...
Well, Toby and I have been married for 2 years. It has been quite an adventure. We are now living in Texas but just for the summer, thank goodness. I don't do well with the humidity. Unlike some people I like lotion (us Lawlers sweat a lot and lotion is like another layer of deodorant). But we are here to install home security systems. Its been almost 3 months and so far it's good. Toby's mission friend got him into it. So we have some friends out here and that is really fun. We often work really late (the latest we worked was 3am) so when we hang out its late and we usually have dinner at IHOP or Denny's (24 hours). So life is different, but fun.

It's been 2 years since Toby and I got hithed. I swear it was the hottest day that summer and I had to wear a dress and Toby was in a suit...but it was a great day!!

We got married on July 15th at the Mount Timpanogous temple. It was beautiful. The reception was at my parents house. It was perfect. We had a chocolate fountain and dancing. I really enjoyed myself. My dad did a great job with the pasture. It looked amazing!!!

I feel like my parents property was perfect for a reception. What do you think?
