New Baby

I found this picture and didn't have a great place to put it so I'll just stick it here.  

This is a SUPER FAVORITE picture of these two!!

 Ailey Jessa Somers is here!!!She can on Brice's Birthday.  February 22nd (Morgan's due date!)

 8 lbs 4 oz.  21 1/2 inches at 10:42 PM.

 She was born at home and everything went WONDERFUL.  Morgan in a pro birther.  If there was some sort of a birthing competition she would get the gold metal every time.  

 Ailey's first bath!! She loved it so much she slept even though she was hungry.

Russell

I am not getting the fascination with the dog crate.

 My friend Amy gave this hat to Russell and he is not big enough to fit in it and I LOVE it.  Thank you so much Amy!!!

I love walking into a room to find Russell reading.

 Raelin sits on the glider and reads whenever she comes over.

 Now Russell will disappear into his room to read like Raelin.  I get a little nervous when the house is quiet but then I find this.  Love it..

 He got bored waiting to go potty.  

 He wanted to put a diaper on over his pj's and he snatched a cupcake for breakfast one morning!!! 

 This bucket is his new favorite toy.  He will put it on his head and just wonder around the house and play.  It is SO funny.With this pregnancy I have been trying to eat healthier and so I make these green smoothies that are full of spinach or kale.  Russell LOVES them.  He will stand by the blender and ask for juice.  YES YES I know I deserve mother of the year award. HAHA

Russell likes swings now that Alaina showed him how fun they are.  What a beautiful place I live.  Love seeing those mountains in the background of my pictures.

He loves wearing his bear towel (Thanks Nana).  

This was just about the funniest thing I have seen in a while.  We did this for about 15 min.  All the cashiers were crowded around Russell watching him and playing along.

I love this.  Sorry about the squeaking but if you listen you can hear Russell say "YEE HAW"  FAVORITE!!!

Sweet Moments with Russell

 Russell loves playing with my phone so we take a lot of pictures.  Here are some of my favorites.

We went to my parents ward one Sunday because my mom was giving a talk.  When my mom got up to the microphone Russell yelled "MAMMY".  I think it made her day.  Then this is how these two walked out to the car.  SO cute.  It made me so HAPPY!!!

NO I did not put them in there for being bad.  They all went in there themselves.  And yes they were barking.  Too funny.

 So funny.

 Favorite toy is the Costco box.  All 3 of them took turns "trying" to push each other around the living room.

 I think Russell was the only one that actually got the box moving.  Not that Alaina isn't strong but Russell is HEAVY!!

These pictures are way out of time order but I just love this one.  These boys make me so happy.

Morgan's kids were staying the night with us and Russell went to time out.  After I finished talking to him about what he did I look over and Landon put himself in time out.  Classic.

Alaina got this Barbie car for her birthday and Russell LOVES riding in it and Alaina loves driving it.  They will just play in it all day even if it is unplugged.

Just riding around no biggie!!!

 Brice has gotten a job.  YAYYY!! BUT it is in Arizona.  BOOO.  I am so excited for them and I think it is so great for their family but it is so sad for me and my family.  So we have been spending a lot of time with them before they leave (2 weeks from when they found out he got the job!!!).  SO here is Ryker, Alaina and Russell walking down the hall at my mom's school.  This is just how they are...no staging here.  I just love how they all get along but I am going to miss them all so much.  Oh ya and lets not forget how sad it will be that Morgan's youngest 3 and my 2 will all be with in 3 1/2 years of each other.  That's 5 kids in super close ages.  Russell is going to have to find new playmates.  

Baby Time

Toby was in Mississippi for 2 weeks for work in November.  While he was gone I found out that I was pregnant.  So this was Toby's homecoming.

  Russell was SO excited to see him.  Russell loves his daddy.

 Toby was just as excited to see Russell too.

 So this was how I told Toby that I was pregnant.  I made a shirt that Russell wore.

 On the front it had a picture of one dog and the words "I have a big secret"

 Then on the back it had 2 dogs with "I am going to be a big brother."

I think that Toby was a little excited!!!!

So I guess this is the official announcement (even though I am 5 months along)

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!

Christmas

So we did a a terrible job at taking pictures this Christmas.  But here is what we did take.

Russell and Toby at the office Christmas party with antlers on.  And Toby and Russell decorating the tree.

Russell loved the train.  He is now obsessed with trains.

After we opened presents and ate some food we went for a walk down to a little pond.  It was frozen over and so here are the brave ones who went out on the ice.  

Then we all ran around at the park.  It was a lot of fun being outside on Christmas day.  The dogs came too and had a blast.  Fun family time.
